SILK DISTRICT
SILK DISTRICT is a mixed-use development (office and residential) located in Iaşi, Romania, on the premises of a former industrial area, nearby the city center. The plot size is of approximately 100.000 sqm.
Given the position in the city, as well as the accessibility of the plot, the future development will serve as an office district (five class A office buildings), as well as a residential one.
The purpose of the competition is to find the optimal solution for the residential development. The architectural solution includes two “A” units, four “B” units and unit “C”, which consists of a multistory parking and two residential towers on top.
