RAHMANINOV RESIDENCE
Construction works just started for our project, a low-rise boutique apartment building situated on a corner lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. Despite its compact size and having two dead walls on the property limit, this building was designed in a way that maximizes its potential. Each apartment has been designed differently in relations to the outdoors, according to their position within the building: the ground floor apartment opens towards a private garden; the four apartments on the first and second floor each have large balconies; the apartment on the retracted third floor, which is also the largest, benefits from a spacious terrace adjacent to the living area and a separate terrace for the main bedroom. The ground floor hosts a designated parking area and a small public green area. To optimize natural light, the building comes with large windows, encased in a ceramic ventilated facade. This project is an example of how we usually work with difficult sites in dense urban areas, in a way that is both economically feasible and considerate towards the surroundings and the habitation needs of future residents.
